Through our subsidiary, Independence TX, LLC, we mine and process sand utilized in the oil and gas industries. We manage entire projects from resource identification and permitting, to construction and ultimately operations. Independence currently operates four mines in West Texas and South Texas with a production capacity in excess of 7 million tons annually.
Sandstone Mining and Sand Processing Facility
Independence OH, LLC, in partnership with Kimble Company, is developing a sandstone mining and sand processing facility near Strasburg, Ohio, along Interstate 77. Kimble Company will mine sandstone on site, which Independence will process into sand for customers throughout the region, with a significant portion expected to support energy development in Eastern Ohio. The operation is believed to be the first Ohio-based sand mining and processing facility positioned specifically to serve the state’s oil and natural gas industry.
