Independence Expands Sand Operations to Ohio

Independence OH, LLC and Kimble Company have announced a sandstone mining and sand processing operation near Strasburg, Ohio. The facility is expected to create approximately 120 jobs, including approximately 80 with Independence, and will supply sand to customers across the region, with a significant portion supporting energy development in Eastern Ohio. Construction is underway.
